At TVS Pro, we try our best to give back to the community when we can! That’s why we’re a proud sponsor of Angel Flight – which provides free medical and ‘compassion’ flights for those who qualify. Not only do we support Angel Flight, but our own Steve, and James Bollinger are active member pilots of Angel Flight’s division for the West – with Steve Bollinger as the division’s wing leader and Santa Flight coordinator!
This year TVS Pro placed collection boxes in both our service and sales departments to collect school supplies, backpacks, clothing, toys and other donations to benefit Enoch Elementary School – a Title One elementary school in Enoch, Utah. Along with our donation, altogether Angel Flight West was able to donate around 8,000 lbs of supplies and $6,000 in monetary donations to the school which serves over 500 students.
Not only was the school delighted by the donations but the delivery was made by 28 planes flown by volunteer pilots, several Boy Scouts working on their Eagle projects – and even Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus!
This is the 18th year members of the Utah Wing of Angel Flight West has gathered and delivered needed supplies and toys to a Title One school in a rural community in Utah.
